Activities Facilitator
Part Time | Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
This Facilitator will help mentors as they provide arts programming each Tuesday and Thursday. They will work with HEARTists to make sure they are achieving the artwork and activities to their best potential, helping HEARTists as they work on projects to keep them engaged. The Facilitator will also be responsible for overall care and wellbeing of the HEARTists at the studio, such as keeping attendance, headcounts, carrying essentials needed for field trips, etc. They will also help with studio organization and cleaning each day. The Activities Facilitator will help HEARTists in their arrival and departure routines.
There is a 1-hour paid lunch each program day, and during that time the Facilitator will socialize together with everyone and assist HEARTists with their lunches. Lunchtime also involves helping to get set up and cleaned up.
Some additional events and activities outside of the regular HEART schedule may be available from time to time. Some are completely optional, like movie nights and social events. Others will be required, such as our annual fundraising events. These events will be discussed and planned well in advance and are paid.
